After installing Java 6 (Update 19 or later), you may begin seeing a new security warning when logging into Banner.

JAVA 6 INSTALL

Banner requires a web browser that has the Java plug-in installed. From time to time, the Java version needs to be upgraded in order to maintain security, system stability, and compatibility.

When you run Banner the first time or whenever an upgrade is required, you will see a message prompting you to install "Java SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 16" (or later).
