Annual Crane Scholars Retreat Planned for March

Feb. 5, 2014

The 2014 William Carey Crane Scholars Retreat will be held at Moon River Ranch on March 21-23. This annual retreat is always a highlight of the year for the Crane Scholars. In the middle of a busy semester, the retreat offers an opportunity to refresh and renew for students. Time is set aside for prayer, worship, and presentations by outstanding Christian scholars. Students also find ample space to talk and build friendships within and across their Crane cohorts.

This year's speakers include Elizabeth Newman, professor of theology and ethics at the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond; Rev. Bill Miscamble, C.S.C., professor of history at the University of Notre Dame; and Crane Scholar alumni, Anne Langhorne Jeffrey and Gideon Jeffrey who are completing doctoral work at Georgetown University and St. Louis University respectively.
