"The Baylor family gives back to our community in many ways through the sharing of time, energy and resources. Many Baylor faculty, staff, retirees and students serve in volunteer capacities in local churches or on boards of nonprofit organizations in the area. Each fall Baylor takes an active part in helping our local community financially by participating in the United Way campaign. This year's campaign theme is "More than Me".

You can learn more about the tangible difference that the local United Way agencies are making in the lives of those in need here in the Waco/McLennan County area.

As a member of the Baylor family, I encourage you to participate in the University's 2010 campaign and the newest giving option available: the Baylor Family Compassion Fund.
