CURRENT TEMPORARY POSITIONS AVAILABLE:POSITION TITLE: Science Project Director This position is supported by a Department of Education grant. The effective period of this assignment is scheduled through July 2010 and could be extended through July 2012. During its term, employment may be terminated at will and is contingent upon the existence of grant funding. DEPARTMENT NAME: GEAR Up PURPOSE: This position specifically supports the mission by coordinating furthering research at Baylor as a directive of the GEAR Up grant QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree in Plasma Physics or related field and two years of relevant experience required. A Doctoral degree and two years of relevant work experience preferred. The candidate must have a solid background in both theoretical and experimental complex (dusty) plasmas; algorithm development, laser diagnostics and high vacuum, rf, and complex plasma systems.
