Outstanding Staff Awards

Dear Members of the Faculty and Staff,

The Outstanding Staff Awards Committee is currently accepting nominations for the 2009 Outstanding Staff Awards. These awards are presented annually to Baylor staff members who go above and beyond expectations, thus representing the very best of Baylor’s staff.

When considering who to nominate, please address in detail the following criteria:  (1) exceptional achievements within the respective job assignment, (2) support in fulfilling the university's mission, and (3) contributions through service at Baylor, in the local community and in church.

Staff members will be recognized in each of the following categories:

A. Executive/Management (1 recipient)

B. Professional (3 recipients)

C. Clerical/Administrative Support (3 recipients)

D. Technical/Paraprofessional/Service Maintenance (1 recipient)

You may nominate any staff member in any category. Nominees must have at least three years of service with Baylor University.  Nominations can be submitted electronically at: http://www.baylor.edu/hr_services/outstandingstaff. For those faculty or staff members who may not have computer access, please contact Human Resources (extension 8539) for assistance.

All nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009 to be considered.  Recipients of the 2009 Outstanding Staff Awards will be recognized during the Spring Staff Forum in January.

Recognition as Outstanding Staff at Baylor is a great honor. We encourage and appreciate your thoughtful participation in this nomination process.
