POSITION: Assistant Professor
QUALIFICATIONS: Baylor University invites applications for a film/media maker at the level of Assistant. The successful candidate will have an MFA or PhD and a strong commitment to both creative work and undergraduate teaching. We seek applicants with expertise in one or more of the following production areas: narrative film production, postproduction, cinematography, screenwriting, or writing for other media genres. The department specifically seeks a creative storyteller with a record of peer-reviewed screenings and the potential for future creative work in this area.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to participate vigorously in the department by intellectually engaging students both in and out of the classroom. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses is essential. The successful candidate must also develop and to carry out a vigorous program of juried creative work that ideally involves both undergraduate and graduate students.
RANK AND SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
