Spring 2013 Tuition Remission

If you or your eligible family member(s) plan to register for the spring 2013 semester and have not completed the application for tuition remission for spring 2013, the electronic application must be submitted prior to the first day of class. Spring semester classes begin January 14, 2013. All applicants must have an active student record prior to submitting the electronic tuition remission application. The electronic tuition remission application can be found here.

If you or your family member(s) receive tuition remission, the online tuition remission application for spring 2013 must be completed by October 1, 2012 in order to be eligible for spring 2013 early registration on Friday, October 26.

Keep in mind that if you were hired on or after July 1, 2003, your spouse and/or child must complete the 2012-2013 FAFSA before applying for tuition remission. If you have an adjusted gross income (AGI) of $95,000 or more for the tax year proceeding the year in which you are applying for tuition remission, you may be exempted from completing the FAFSA.

To determine if you qualify for this exemption, use the following guideline:

  • For tuition remission - child, use your (Baylor employee) and your spouse's, if applicable, AGI even if you are not married to your child's biological parent.
  • For tuition remission - spouse, use your (Baylor employee) and your spouse's, if applicable, AGI.

If applicable, you can complete the FAFSA form on-line at www.fafsa.gov.
