The Baylor askHR Customer Service Center marked its one-year anniversary last month. Shortly after the April 1 anniversary, the customer service center recorded its 10,000th phone request from a caller with a question pertaining to CVS Caremark replacement card.
Since the customer service center opened one year ago, call volume, email (askHR@baylor.edu), and walk-ins have averaged 1,650 per month. The self-service web portal, www.baylor.edu/hr/selfservice, which allows customers to find answers and receive relevant content assistance, has also been very popular.
Over the past year, our customers have become more and more familiar with the benefits of the askHR Customer Service Center and the relative ease of reaching a live person by simply dialing 2000. The convenient email account and customer service center are transforming the way Human Resources delivers human resource solutions. Creating greater responsiveness and accountability was one of the objectives when we launched the customer service center and based upon customer feedback we feel confident that we are reaching our goal.
The askHR Customer Service Center handles a wide range of calls and questions, from the most popular - employment related topics ('how do I apply for a position at Baylor' or 'could you please tell me the status of my application') - to more specialized topics such as Family & Medical Leave.
The askHR Customer Service Center operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The self-service website is available 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week.
