2012 Benefit Plan Changes Highlights

• Faculty staff monthly premiums to increase from $2 to $19 depending on salary band and coverage election.

• Three new drug savings plans will be added to encourage purchasing less costly medicine to improve the cost-benefit of the plan and to keep future premium increases to a minimum.

• Baylor faculty and staff indicate higher levels of satisfaction with their medical benefit compared to a peer group and Baylor's plan benefits compare favorably to the 2012 benchmark comparison plan.

• There are no changes to dental premiums or benefits.
