The Louise Herrington School of Nursing is located in Dallas on the campus of the Baylor University Medical Center, where students complete their upper division coursework. Established in 1909, the School of Nursing has an outstanding reputation based on excellent faculty, curriculum and students and is committed to providing our students with premier education and clinical experiences in a faith-based environment.

POSITION: Assistant to Full Professor. (2 positions available)

QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral education and active research agenda required for tenure track appointments. Excellent opportunities for collaborative research with area healthcare agencies exist. Candidates must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.

Desired specialty areas: Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Geriatrics, Psych and Medical-Surgical

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include Teaching and its related scholarly work; research; and service to the university, the faculty member's professional field, and the community. The areas of responsibility will vary according to the faculty member's specialty area and specific assignment.

RANK AND SALARY: Commensurate with experience and qualifications. These positions are tenured or tenure-track eligible, depending on experience and qualifications.
