Nominations are submitted electronically.
To nominate an employee for the Outstanding Staff Award, please review the requirements below, prepare the nomination document, and complete the nomination form.

Save the nomination document, and upload it to the Nomination Form once completed.
Nomination Form: CLICK HERE TO UPLOAD THE NOMINATION DOCUMENT AND SUBMIT THE NOMINATION.
You will be prompted to sign in using your BearID and password to access the nomination form.
Nominations must be received by 5:00pm on October 31st to be considered.
The number of staff to be awarded is based on distribution of university employees in each employment level and is as follows:
•Three awards - Office/Clerical/Technical/Paraprofessional/Skilled Crafts/Service Maintenance
•Three awards - Professional
•Two awards - Executive/Administrative/Management
Nominations will be based on the employee's service to Baylor through:
•Support in fulfilling the university's mission;
•Achievements within the respective job assignment; and
•Contributions through service at Baylor, local community and church.
Requirements for Staff Member Nomination:
•A staff member must be employed for a minimum of two consecutive years.
•A staff member may be selected no more than once every seven years for the outstanding staff award.
•A staff member may be nominated more than once, but not by the same person in the same year.
•Deans, Assistant/Associate Vice Presidents, and Executive Council members are ineligible for selection as outstanding staff.
