The HR Center for Learning & Leadership endeavors to build upon the strengths of our managers and employees in order to develop a culture of excellence. We foster an environment of continuous learning, professional growth, and organizational effectiveness through learning and development opportunities and solutions at individual, team and organizational levels. We relate the employee's work performance to the University's mission and vision through the staff performance management process and award employees' individual contributions through our recognition programs.

Education & Training

Performance Evaluation & Planning
Each employee serves an important role in the University and, as a result, is responsible for specific performance objectives. The assessment and development of the execution of those responsibilities in relation to the University's mission and vision serves as the basis for Baylor's performance evaluation process. Managing employee performance and development is essential to insuring the excellence of the Baylor experience for faculty, staff, students, and the community. HRCLL equips managers and employees with the tools to complete the annual performance evaluation and conduct ongoing development as part of the performance management process which links performance to pay.
