Majors
GT Great Texts
A major or minor through which students will read foundational works of literature, politics, theology, and philosophy - from Antiquity to the present - in small, seminar-style classes
US University Scholars
The most selective undergraduate major at Baylor, allowing students to design an individualized curriculum across a broad range of academic interests with the advice of a faculty mentor, culminating with a senior thesis project
Programs
BIC Baylor Interdisciplinary Core
Offers students of all majors an alternative way to receive credit for general studies requirements by completing an integrated set of interdisciplinary courses, team-taught by faculty throughout the University
HP Honors Program
Supplements all majors with a wide range of challenging classes, engaged discussions, and independent research, culminating with a senior thesis written under faculty mentorship

HRC Shield

The Honors Residential College (HRC) is designed to provide a culture that fosters academic excellence, intensive faculty student interaction and rich culture steeped in Baylor tradition.

The HRC is housed in historic Alexander and Memorial Residence Halls, right in the heart of campus and is open to all students enrolled in an Honors College academic program.

Admission is by special application only and is competitive;rooms in the HRC are in high demand. Therefore, we encourage you to apply or to reapply for admission early.
