Reunion Gatherings

On Friday night of Homecoming each year, the Baylor Alumni Association hosts special seated gatherings for the 25 and 50 year classes as well as reunion classes of the Heritage Club--an organization for those who attended Baylor fifty or more years ago.

This year, the Class of 1959 will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a dinner at 5 p.m. in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. For more about this class, go to Class of 1959.

The Class of 1984 will also celebrate their special 25th anniversary on Friday evening at 6 p.m. in Truett Seminary's Piper Great Hall. For more about this class, go to Class of 1984.

At the Heritage Club Dinner, reunion classes of 1939, 1944, 1949, and 1954 will meet at the McMullan Faculty Center for dinner on Friday evening. Lots of good Baylor memories will be shared, so all Heritage Club members should make plans to be there!

85leannenewman Then on Saturday, everyone will join together for one big event! The Reunion Picnic and Class Meetings--held between the parade and the game at Floyd Casey Stadium--includes a buffet served from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

All alums are always welcome at the picnic, but special reunions are held for a class every five years. This year, tents were set up for classes ending in the year 4 or 9, including the 50th Anniversary Class of 1959 and the 25th Anniversary Class of 1984.
