Office Hours and Location

Normal HOTRHF office hours: 9 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday.
If you need to visit the HOTRHF office, please call first to ensure someone will be in the office to meet you.
NOTE: On fair entry deadline date only, office hours will be 10 am TO 4:00 pm.


Driving Directions

- 1624 South 9th Street - a two-story house on the corner of 9th and James Streets
At the 8th Street EXIT on I-35, move directly to the far right lane on the northbound I-35 service road, turn right at Pizza Hut on the 8th Street corner
- or - if you are coming south on Dutton Avenue turn left on 8th Street(Dutton is the street that runs parrallel to the I35 access road and directly in front of the Baylor campus. Dutton deadends at a stop sign at 8th Street when you are traveling south).
Continue on 8th Street to the cross street of James - turn right. Go to the next corner where our two-story house is located at James and 9th. All parking is normal city public parking.

Dropping off fair materials
To drop off historical papers, Web site print copies, and/or entry fees after our normal business hours OR if you find our outside door locked and no one answers the doorbell, you may drop materials through the mail slot in outside wood office door. Please DO NOT use the white mail box to the left of the front door.

  • Please place all materials in a well sealed envelope.
  • If you are dropping off entry fees or t-shirt money, please
    include a list of your students' names.
  • Maximum envelope size for mail slot is 11" wide by 2" thick. Open the screen/storm door and place your materials through the mail slot in the wooden front door. This is a secure drop for all materials and money.
  • Mark envelopes ATTENTION HOTRHF.
  • Please use more than one envelope if your material is bulky.
