Modern Germany, German Catholics, approaches to World History, Modern Europe
• A study of the conceptualization of world history
Works in Progress:
• "German Catholics and the Agrarian League" in German Studies Review; Regular contributor to "Notes on Church and State" for the Journal of Church and State.
Why I Came To Baylor:
"When I was a graduate student at Emory University, I knew several people who had been undergraduates or M.A. students in History at Baylor. They uniformly spoke well of the department and of the university, and they thought that I would fit in well at Baylor."
On My Research Interests:
"At the micro level I am interested in the politics and social institutions of Germany's Catholic minorities, and at the macro level, the conceptualization of world history."
