The Robert L. Reid Teaching AwardThe Robert L. Reid Award is an award given to professors for teaching excellence, in the Department of History. The History major students write a brief summary of the professor they think is the most deserving of this award, and this year, Dr. Jeffrey S. Hamilton became the fifth recipient of this award on 29 November 2007, joining the first recipient, Professor Robert L. Reid, for whom the award is named, 1992. The following are the past recipients of The Robert L. Reid Award, which include, Dr. Paul T. Armitstead, 1996, Dr. Richard B. Riley, 1997, and Dr. Robert M. Baird, 2001.
