ADHD Information
If you have been prescribed medication previously for ADHD, and would like to transfer your medical care to a Baylor physician you must provide the following information prior to getting an appointment for a prescription refill:
Prior Medical Records, which must include:
- Comprehensive neurophsychological testing
- Surveys filled out by patient and at least one other source (typically parent, teacher, or boss).
Or
We cannot refill based solely on an empty prescription bottle.
After these materials have been reviewed by our committee, you will be contacted and either asked for more information or cleared to make an appointment for a prescription refill.
If you have never been tested, there are several psychology clinics in Waco that may be able to help you (see ADHD Community Testing Referrals). Another option is to get a 3-month supply of medication from your home doctor.
