Baylor Drumline

The Baylor Drumline (BDL) consists of approximately 32 percussionists who come from all facets of university life. The philosophy of the marching percussion program at Baylor is one that aims to balance personal and educational growth. The BDL strives to create an educational environment that is conducive to a high level of performance while upholding the rich traditions of the Baylor University Golden Wave Band.

Each member of the BDL, new or returning, is required to audition for a position on the drumline every year. Positions include; snare, tenor, bass drum and cymbals. The BDL adheres to a drum and bugle corps-style of playing and marching.
