Course Specific Information:

1. COL Douglas A. Kersey Advanced Clinical & Operational Practice: The target audience for this course is physical therapists (AD, Reserve, and IMA) with 2-3 years in service, physical therapists anticipating a orders to a single therapist position, or physical therapists returning to practice from career-broadening assignments.

The USN typically is allowed 10 seats total. Seats will be allocated to AD who can guarantee funding from their parent command. Reserve and civilian (GS/NSPS or contract) physical therapists may be selected for the course and must procure funding from their parent command.

2. Joint Operational Deployment Course (JODC): The target audience for this course is for physical therapists (AD and Reserve) assigned to an operational platform or targeted for an upcoming deployment.

The USN typically is allowed 5 seats total. Seats will be allocated to AD who can procure funding from their parent command. Reserve physical therapists may be selected for the course and must procure funding from their parent command.

Application Process:

1. Active Duty Physical Therapist: Coordinate your desire to attend the course through your department head/director and CAPT Sander.

2. Reserve and NSPS/GS or Contract Civilian Physical Therapist: Coordinate your desire to attend with your department head/director and CAPT Sander.
