Recruiting Funds
This year, the Graduate School has limited recruiting funds to assist you with GRE searches, brochures or posters, and applicants' travel for campus visits.
Brochures and GRE Searches: The Graduate School will match your department's costs for GRE Searches. Limited matching funds are available to assist with print media (brochures, posters, postcards, other).
Campus Visits: The Graduate School will reimburse your department for up to $300 per applicant for each applicant's travel expenses (Airfare or Mileage – Group Travel Only). The Graduate School is suggesting that the prospective student arrange for and pay their own airfare. Upon completion of their visit and submittal of their travel expense receipts, a reimbursement will be processed for each applicant. This reimbursement is limited to 15 applicants for doctoral programs and 7 applicants for master's programs. If an applicant visits Baylor individually, instead of with a group, the Graduate School will reimburse up to $200 for that applicant's airfare or mileage.
Funding: To request funding from the Graduate School, please submit the Request for Funds form. If the request is for applicants' travel, please include a list of your invited applicants, and, then after their visit, copies of airline receipts or mileage reports. The Graduate School is asking that all requests be submitted as soon as possible and no later than May 1, 2013. Your request may be submitted by email to: Lori McNamara.
