Erik Z. Ellis, recipient of the Guittard Fellowship and graduate student in the History department, presented an analysis of the sixteenth-century Latin history of England by the Italian, Polydore Vergil, and demonstrated its special place in the historiography of English History. Erik is working on an M.A. in history and intends to graduate in 2008. Erik will be studying in the Baylor in Maastricht program in Fall 2007. Graduate Students from the Religion, Political Science, History, and English departments were invited to the presentation.
