Seminars for Excellence in Teaching
Seminars for Excellence in Teaching (SET) is a program to equip graduate students, adjunct instructors, and temporary lecturers who are well-prepared Teachers Of Record (TORs), to meet the historic expectations of excellence in teaching at Baylor. In addition, SET documents the SACS-required aspects of professional development for these teachers. SET offers a series of seminars on various aspects of teaching led by Baylor teachers/scholars who have been recognized for excellence.
Seminars are filled on a first come, first served basis and are capped at 20 participants. All graduate students, even those not serving as TORS, are invited to register for the seminars.
