Academic Events

The Graduate Student Housing Communities host academic gatherings open to all community members. Presenters are community members, Baylor faculty and graduate students, guests from other universities, and leaders from the community. Past events have taken the form of themed interdisciplinary conversations, movie viewings and discussions, lectures, panel discussions, and presentations on community involvement and professional life.
Past Events on Professional Life:
Baylor Graduate School, Present and Future: An Annual Dialogue Between Graduate Students and Baylor Leaders. Past guests have included President Ken Starr, Provost Elizabeth Davis, and Dean of the Graduate School Larry Lyon.Aaron LeMay, M.S. Ed. student in the Student Services Administration (M.S.Ed.) program gave a presentation that was a derivative of his joint research with Dr. Robert Cloud (Educational Administration): Student Debt and the Future of Higher Education
