Benches

Baylor University is known for its beautiful campus, and throughout its more than 1,000 acres, benches have been placed in memory and honor of members of the Baylor family. Each honorary or memorial iron bench includes a 2" X 10" raised letter bronze plaque containing three lines of text, with 30 characters per line. The cost for each bench is $3,500.

Benches can be purchased for the following areas: Brazos Riverfront Walkway, Fountain Mall, Founders Mall, McLane Student Life Center/Baylor Sciences Building Plaza, Speight Ave., Waco Hall, Bennett Auditorium, Fifth Street (in front of Morrison and Hankamer buildings) and Moody Library.


Lampposts

Lampposts adorn the Baylor campus to memorialize those who have served our country through military, government or other notable public service. There are two types of plaques available on the lampposts:

Standard Rectangle: 6" x 9" aluminum raised letter plaque for remembering military, government and other worthy individuals. Available for $5,000.

Military Shield Plaque: 6" x 9" plaque for remembering military and government individuals killed in action. Available for $5,000.


Trees

Many in our Baylor family choose to plant a tree celebrate the very real roots that bind individuals and families to Baylor University. There are several types of trees to choose from, and each tree comes with a 6" x 9" raised letter bronzed plaque consisting of five lines with 30 characters per line. Tree types include: Burr Oak, Live Oak, Red Oak, Crepe Myrtle, Chinkapin Oak and Bradford Pear. The type of tree chosen may limit choice of placement.

Trees can be purchased for the following areas: Brazos Riverfront Walkway, Fountain Mall, Founders Mall, McLane Student Life Center/Baylor Sciences Building Plaza, Speight Ave., Waco Hall, Bennett Auditorium, Fifth Street (in front of Morrison and Hankamer buildings) and Moody Library.
