Accepted Students

Accepted: First Year and Transfer Students

You will receive an email from the program stating which suite type you have been placed in and asking if you will be accepting your admittance. You may accept or decline your invitation online by directly emailing your name and decision to the Global Community Program Director Holly_Joyner@baylor.edu. In your email, please provide your full name, Bear ID, and a message that states whether you are accepting. Once the program receives your decision, you will be emailed with your confirmation.

For best consideration, please respond by the date indicated in your acceptance email. Once that date is passed you will be placed on a waiting list and will not be guaranteed a placement in the program.

If you accept the invitation, you do not need to do anything further to reserve your spot in the program. However, be aware you will be placed in the Global Community class a one unit special topic course labeled MFL 1101.

Acceptance to the GC-LLC does not guarantee you a space in the residence halls. To reserve your space, one must deposit to the university.

Accepted: Current Baylor Students

You will receive an email from the program stating which suite type you have been placed in and asking if you will be accepting your admittance. You may accept or decline your invitation online by directly emailing your name and decision to the Global Community Program Director Holly_Joyner@baylor.edu. In your email, please provide your full name, Bear ID, and a message that states whether you are accepting. Once the program receives your decision, we will email you with a tentative confirmation which is contingent on your signing the university occupancy license.

For best consideration, please respond by the date indicated in your acceptance email. Once that date is passed you will be placed on a waiting list and will not be guaranteed a placement in the program.

If you accept the invitation, you do not need to do anything further to reserve your spot in the program. However, be aware you will be placed in the Global Community class a one unit special topic course labeled MFL 3101.

Acceptance to the GC-LLC does not guarantee you a space in the residence halls. To reserve your space, you must sign the Occupancy License.
