Has there ever been a better time to be a Baylor Bear? From the rising profile of Baylor Stadium to the dome of the Ferrell Center, an athletic complex of remarkable scope and outstanding quality now occupies both sides of the Brazos River. And with efforts underway for a new home for Baylor's Hankamer School of Business, our campus is literally filled with plans for our bright future taking shape.
Baylor Alumni have long been a vital partner in the philanthropy that has propelled this university, beginning with the restoration of the Carroll Chapel and Library in 1923 to the recently concluded, $100-million President's Scholarship Initiative and Stadium campaign. By coming together as one, in the kind of fully unified effort envisioned by the transition agreement, we will create a synergy that will propel our fundraising - and thus our capacity to serve as a force for good in the world - to new levels.
