We compete, we win. We are Baylor.
Baylor football isn't the only athletic program at Baylor to see its home upgraded. A new tennis facility has boosted Baylor's chances of hosting the NCAA championships, while work is beginning on bringing track and field back to campus.
The Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center came online in January 2013, providing indoor courts for Baylor men's and women's tennis programs which for years had driven 80 miles north when bad weather hit.
Baylor track and field is getting a new home along the Brazos River, adjacent to Baylor Stadium. When the facility debuts in spring 2015, Baylor athletics' oldest facility will be the Ferrell Center, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary this fall.
