Returning home to the Baylor campus
At Homecoming 2011, Baylor's Board of Regents released renderings of a possible new home for Baylor football that could be built at the intersection of Interstate 35 and the Brazos River. Four months later, a leadership gift from the Drayton McLane family got the project going in earnest, and by early fall 2012, construction was underway. The Bears will debut the new $260 million facility when the 2014 season kicks off.
