Dr. Simpson has always enjoyed teaching and the challenges that it presents. Impacting student’s lives, their problem solving skills, and their ability to broaden and deepen the student’s current viewpoint are all areas that Dr. Simpson strives to achieve with every classroom experience. Becoming a member of Baylor University’s faculty in 2004 as a part time lecturer, Dr. Simpson became full-time after earning her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in 2010.

Teaching at Baylor University provides the opportunity to work closely with students, develop a one-on-on relationship, and to help them prepare and develop their professional skill sets, all within a Christian learning environment.
