Our professors use their expertise outside of the classroom in order to benefit society. Here is one of their most recent accomplishments:

The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at Baylor University has many distinguished students that have made notable accomplishments. Here are a couple in particular that have stood out:
>Amanda Beattie
Amanda, a Senior Nutrition Sciences major, has recently won nuResume's Star Student Contest in the healthcare category. Amanda has a featured profile on www.nuResume.com. Amanda was also recently awarded a Council of Administrators in Family and Consumer Sciences award for her research presentation, "Acceptability of Reduced Sodium Content in Meatloaf among Adults over 50."
>Christine Hersh
Christine, a Junior Nutrition Sciences major, has been named to the Sodexo Student Board of Directors. This is an exciting and distinguished opportunity.
