The Parker Design Center provides students access to the latest apparel industry computer software and equipment. Fashion design majors are trained in pattern design and graphic software applications used in product development. Merchandising majors focus on compiling storyboards in the Cad Apparel Design/Retail course. Student experiences include manipulating and designing textile prints, rendering flat drawings of apparel used in line sheets, compiling seasonal palettes and creating weave and knit simulations for draping on garments.
