Bill Daniel Student Center:
The Student Union Building, or SUB, is known as the "heart of the campus" and provides a place to relax, study and participate in activities such as Dr. Pepper Hour, 5th Quarter, and the Baylor Gameroom.
The Armstrong Browning Library:
The Armstrong Browning Library is one of the most beautiful locations on campus. It houses the world’s largest collection of Browning material and other fine collections of rare 19th-century books, manuscripts, and works of art. (Scheduled tours will take place every hour from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.)
Bill and Eva Williams Bear Habitat:
The Bear Habitat houses Baylor’s two bear mascots, Joy and Lady. During the day, they can be seen cooling off in the pool, exploring for food, and sleeping in their caves. Members of the Baylor Chamber of Commerce will be available to answer questions and provide information about the Baylor Bear Mascots Joy and Lady at the Bill and Eva Williams Bear Habitat from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Baylor Science Building:
The 508,000 square foot BSB is home of biology, chemistry, psychology, and other science disciplines. It includes a complement of 31 classrooms and lecture halls, and over 200 teaching and research laboratories.
Student Living Center:
The SLC is home to The Rock, the tallest freestanding climbing structure in Texas at 53 feet! The SLC also includes racquetball courts, a gymnasium, a workout room, as well as a Health Clinic and Pharmacy.
McLane Stadium is home to Baylor Bear Football and other Baylor and Waco community events. The Bears opened the stadium in 2014 and finished with an 11-2 record, a second consecutive Big 12 Championship, and a bid to the 2014 Goodyear Cotton Bowl. One of the most unique and beautiful college sports facilities in the country, McLane Stadium is one of Baylor's most prominent structures.
The Mayborn Museum Complex:
The Mayborn Museum, featuring many exhibits specific to Texas and her history, will be allowing students and their families admission to the museum for free on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Complimentary Dr Pepper floats will be served from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Other On-Campus Fun:
On Saturday afternoon, the Baylor Game Room is offering $1 bowling for Family Weekend guests, as well as free play on the many games in the game room. We also encourage, weather permitting, that families check out the Marina, a popular spot for many Baylor students.
Penland Residential Restaurant will open at 10:30am on Saturday morning will close at 3:00pm. The Starbucks in Moody Library will also be open from 9:00a.m.-11:00 p.m. SUB Dining will be available according to the following schedule:
Einstein's, 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Food Court, which includes Chick-Fil-A and Mooyah Burger, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
