Change lives; give to the United Way
Nov. 29, 2011Dear colleagues,
As we wind down our annual campaign for the United Way, I thought I would take this opportunity to remind you of this important program and ask that you consider contributing if you have not done so already.
The members of the Baylor family have been very generous over the years by contributing time, money and other resources to a variety of church and community programs, including the United Way. During these strained economic times, we are all more deliberate than ever about how we spend and donate our money. It goes without saying that every contribution we make to the United Way campaign directly helps individuals and families in our local cities and county. If you have the ability to make a contribution to the United Way, regardless of size (even $5 per month will make a difference), I would ask that you consider doing so over the next week. You can make your gift on the 2012 United Way card that was recently mailed to you, or you can go on-line and make a contribution at the following link: http://www.baylor.edu/hr/index.php?id=85091.
Thanks for all that you do for Baylor.
Sincerely,
John Whelan
Associate Vice President for Human Resources
