Sept. 29, 2016 Bayleigh Dayton, B.B.A. (Management) '14, became the first African-American woman to win the Miss Missouri USA pageant when she won the 2017 title this past weekend. Dayton will advance to the Miss USA Pageant next year.
Aug. 17, 2016 Research by Matthew Andersson, Ph.D., assistant professor of sociology in Baylor’s College of Arts & Sciences, found that people trying to shed pounds, but who regularly spend time with heavier people, may feel more comfortable with those individuals but are more likely to lose weight if they include thinner people in their social lives.
