The Glasscock Restricted Scholarship Fund
Mr. and Mrs. C. Gus Glasscock, Jr., established the Glasscock Restricted Scholarship Fund in 1999. Mr. Glasscock brings to his interests in environmental education a long history of involvement in the earliest history of petroleum exploration in Texas and the Southwest. Because of Mr. Glasscock's interests and his respect for Baylor University's pioneering environmental studies in the early 1970's, the Glasscocks made significant contributions to support research and construct a building for the Environmental Studies Institute at Baylor University.
Mr. Glasscock and his wife, Bonnie, resided in the Columbus and Houston areas throughout their lives and were active in civic and religious philanthropy. Mrs. Glasscock shared her husband's intellectual and philanthropic interests.
