English Department Afternoon Tea

Most Fridays, the Department's faculty welcomes its students to a casual afternoon tea, starting around 2:30. Fall Semester '09 we'll have teas Sept. 4, Sept. 18 (Parents weekend, parents invited), Oct. 2 , Oct. 23, Nov. 6, Nov. 20, and Dec. 4. We'll enjoy a variety of sweets, with an occasional savory, often prepared by members of the department. Join us, whether you are an English major or are interested in English study (literature, Professional Writing, Linguistics), or just to socialize.
