Kristen Pond specializes in Victorian studies with an emphasis on the realist novel. Her research focuses on forms of telling in the Victorian novel and their influence on the rhetoric of sympathy. Dr. Pond's research and teaching interests include eighteenth- and nineteenth-century literature and gender studies.
