Submit to The Phoenix

Submission Guidelines:
  • Baylor undergraduate and graduate students of all majors and concentrations may submit.
  • All submissions must include a name, phone number, and email address.
  • Submission deadline is January 20, 2012.
  • A student may submit up to:
    • 2 short fiction or non-fiction pieces (Submissions cannot exceed 10 pages double-spaced)
    • 5 poems
    • 5 pieces of art or photography
  • No previously published work will be accepted.
  • Students may submit in multiple categories.
  • Attach art and photography as a high-resolution .jpg or .png.

*Fiction and non-fiction include satire, short stories, screenplay excerpts, feature pieces, and profiles.
*Art includes drawing, lithography, intaglio printing, painting, sculpture.
*A confirmation will be sent to your email after you submit. If you have any questions about submissions or problems submitting, please email Tierney_Felix@baylor.edu or John_McEntire@baylor.edu.

Prizes:
A top prize of $75 will be awarded in the categories of fiction/non-fiction, poetry, and art/photography. Recipients are chosen by an outside judge.
