Jerrie Callan, Senior Lecturer, received her M.A. from Baylor University in 1971. She is Director of Freshman Composition. She has served as Director of the Baylor Writing Center and the Coordinator of the Writing Component of the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core. Her teaching interests include freshman and advanced composition courses and 19th and 20th-century British and American literature. She won the Outstanding Non-tenured Teacher Award for 1989-90 and in 1991 was awarded the Chi Omega, Rachel Hunter Moore Outstanding Woman Faculty Member Award.
