This Web site is your resource for emergency planning and preparedness, as well as up-to-date information about campus alerts, closures and openings during emergencies or unfavorable weather situations.

As a situation progresses, updates may be available through local news media, the 'News & Announcements' section on the Faculty & Staff website, the 'News for You' on the Current Students webpage, e-mails and text messages. If you have changed your cell phone number, please update your Bearweb account. In the event of an emergency, the university community may also receive communications via voice messages, the outdoor/indoor notification system, and Baylor Police patrol car announcements.



News:  Effective August 24, 2011, Baylor University will begin conducting a monthly test of the outdoor mass notification / indoor voice evacuation systems. The test will occur the first Friday of every month from 2:15 to 2:30 PM (Fall and Spring semesters) and 2:45 to 3:00 PM (Summer sessions). Read More
