Animal Worker Occupational Health & Safety Program

The Animal Worker Occupational Health & Safety Program is designed for the safety and well-being of the faculty, staff, and students who are working with animals in their research. For information and training concerned with the safety and well-being of the research animals themselves, please visit the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) page.

The program is outlined in the Animal Worker Occupational Health & Safety Guide. There are two components to this program: training, and medical evaluation. The training, "Occupational Health and Safety for Personnel with Laboratory Animal Contact", is available online. Please contact Karalyn_Humphrey@baylor.edu if you need access to the online training platform.

The medical evaluation involves filling out one or more of the forms listed below. Forms A, B and D are fillable PDF forms. Depending upon your browser and settings, you may have to download the forms to be able to fill them in.
