Academy Visit Day

Please join the School of Engineering and Computer Science for an up close look into the ECS Experience! The purpose of the ECS Academy is to give students and parents an intimate visit on campus, where they can meet students, faculty, and staff. Ultimately, we strive to help you find your place here at Baylor University. The Academy is a day for an elite group of students that are serious about their academics and are eager to attend a top ECS program in the country.

Since this event is reserved for the high ability student, we ask that you meet the following criteria to attend.
  • Top 10% of your high school
  • Above a 1200 SAT or 29 ACT
  • Excited about Math, Science, Engineering, and Computers
  • Eager to experience Baylor and see if this is a good fit for you
By attending the Academy you will:
  • Tour  the ECS Residence Hall (ECS-LLC)
  • Meet faculty, staff, and students in ECS
  • Attend classes and lectures by dynamic faculty
  • Eat and socialize around campus
There are only 24 spaces available for each Academy, and they will be reserved for those who apply early and meet the previous qaulifications listed. The visit includes meals and a t-shirt (parents and students must make their own hotel arrangements). If you are interested in taking advantage of this exclusive opportunity, please fill out the registration form listed on this page and email it to Adam Ecklund.

The cost for this experience is only $30.00 per student and $10 per parent. Please make checks payable to Baylor University upon acceptance to the program.
