Piecemeal might be the appropriate way to describe how David Hill funded his Baylor education, scraping together loans, grants and campus job paychecks to cover his tuition. With the help of his need-based financial aid package, Hill earned his accounting degree from Hankamer School of Business in 1978 and his juris doctorate from Baylor Law School in 1981. He left Baylor with a distinct sense of indebtedness, and he has since transitioned from scholarship recipient to scholarship donor because of three simple words spoken to him.
