Amarillo residents and Baylor University graduates Randy and Stacy Sharp were honored as Baylor's Parents of the Year for 2004, during the halftime ceremony of the Baylor-North Texas football game Sept. 25.

With the help of his need-based financial aid package, Hill earned his accounting degree from Hankamer School of Business in 1978 and his juris doctorate from Baylor Law School in 1981. He left Baylor with a distinct sense of indebtedness, and he has since transitioned from scholarship recipient to scholarship donor because of three simple words spoken to him.
