Randy and Phyllis Patterson of San Antonio have been selected as Baylor University's Parents of the Year for 2003. The Pattersons were honored Sept. 13 during halftime of the Baylor vs. SMU football game.
After debating in executive session for more than three hours, Baylor University's Board of Regents today reaffirmed the leadership of Baylor President Robert B. Sloan Jr. by a vote of 31-4. Baylor University will host its annual Parents Weekend Aug. 12-13. A Baylor tradition since 1960, parents will have the opportunity to spend time with their children and become familiar with the ways of the Baylor family.
