A Community Legacy
From running with the Baylor Line to late nights studying for engineering tests, Haden Duke (BS '12), the first recipient of the Senior Class Gift Endowed Scholarship, soaked up every bit of the Baylor experience. Even though he ran into a
speed bump along the way--the diagnosis of Type I diabetes--he was determined to make the most of his new Baylor home.
"My parents wanted to keep me home for the semester, but Baylor is where I belonged," Haden reflected during his junior year. "I thank God for the senior class' willingness to give. It's not just giving money, it's giving people like me a chance to experience a college education."
