The Baylor Call Center was established in 1995 as part of Baylor University's annual giving program. A group of hardworking Baylor students serve the university by contacting alumni to build strong Baylor connections, update alumni information and raise funds for Baylor University.
The Baylor Call Center offers one of the highest paying work-study jobs on campus, with starting pay at $8.00 per hour. There are opportunities to receive multiple raises based on personal achievement on the phone, and opportunities for advancement to management positions.
Calling shifts are available Sunday-Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Callers are required to work three shifts each week and two weekend shifts each month (Friday or Saturday). Callers make their own schedule each week.
The Baylor Call Center is a fun work environment, which includes nightly games, music, parties, prizes and teamwork. Student-workers also have opportunities to receive recognition through a letter home to parents, awards, a visit from a Baylor professional or on-field recognition at a Baylor football game!
