At Baylor, we believe that a great education propels students toward a lifetime of success. In an effort to show our commitment to our students and provide world-class career support, Career and Professional Development began a mission in 2012 to raise the placement rate at Baylor University above 90%. Thanks to the generous support of Baylor's administration, in a few short years CPD has seen explosive growth in our staffing and services, and our placement rate has risen rapidly to very near our 90% goal with no signs of slowing down.

A successful placement is defined as a student who has either 1) accepted a position 2) is remaining in a currently held position 3) is considering offers 4) owns his or her own business 5) entered the military or 6) was accepted to a graduate school. Salary data is for respondents who indicated full-time employment within the United States, and is suppressed for less than five respondents. Placement data for individual programs is based on the first major and program of the student. Most recent data for placement rates and mean starting salary is from the 2015-2016 academic year.
