What is sexual harassment?

Sexual harassment is not tolerated at Baylor University and may violate federal and state laws.

Sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical contact of a sexual nature.

It is sexual harassment when:

• Conduct is made explicitly or implicitly a term or condition to an individual's employment or education.
• Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for employment or education decisions affecting such individual.
• Conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's performance or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive working or education environment.
