Dr. John Alred is the acting Deputy Branch Chief of the Materials & Processes Branch of the Structural Engineering Division at the NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. He is also concurrently the International Space Station System Manager for Materials and Processes. He attended the University of Central Arkansas where he received Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics. He continued on in Physics receiving a M.S., followed by a Ph.D., at Baylor University.=0D=0A=
